Travis Mathews is the Co-Founder and CEO of Fairfax Title. With more than two decades of experience in the Dallas–Fort Worth real estate industry, he brings a rare, full-circle perspective to the closing table. Travis began his career as a real estate agent and later moved into leadership roles at several of the region’s most respected brokerage firms, including the Ebby Halliday Companies, Allie Beth Allman & Associates, and HomeServices of America. His time working directly with agents and later overseeing large-scale operations, training, and agent support shaped his belief that communication, clarity, and education form the backbone of a successful transaction.
Travis is a licensed escrow officer and closes transactions at Fairfax Title in addition to his involvement with title operations, strategy and business development within the organization. He is deeply engaged in helping agents navigate contract nuances, title commitments, and the practical realities that often determine whether a transaction stays on track. Known for his calm and solutions-oriented approach, Travis is a steady resource for clients, agents, and partners, especially when deals become complex or time sensitive.
Travis founded Fairfax Title with his partner, Ashley Cook, with a shared vision of building a title company rooted in service, trust, and long-term relationships. Under their leadership, Fairfax Title has grown organically and has earned a reputation for thoughtful communication, hands-on support, and a collaborative approach with real estate professionals throughout the area.
Outside of work, Travis lives in Highland Park with his wife Brittany, a top-producing real estate agent, and their two children.
